Meet The Staff
Julie, Patient Care Coordinator
Julie is our patient care coordinator and has more than 35 years of experience in dentistry. She recently celebrated her 15 year anniversary of working with Dr. Herrera. She assists patients with all of their insurance and financial needs. Prior to joining us, Julie worked at the San Mateo County Dental Society as a dental health educator. There she drove the famous “brush mobile” and taught Bay Area children how to brush their teeth. She has lived in the Bay Area for 55 years, making her a “true local” who can relate to almost any patient. She is a very focused and hard working woman of quick wit and positive attitude. She is an asset to our practice and delightful to work with. In her spare time, Julie is an avid horse racing fan who loves movies and gardening.
Kelly, Scheduling Coordinator
Kelly is our scheduling coordinator. You will hear her friendly voice when you make your first appointment with our office, and see her smiling face as soon as you walk in the door. She has a great sense of humor that our patients as well as our team enjoy. Prior to joining us in dentistry she spent many years working in the veterinary field and now is happy to have made the switch to the dental field. Outside of work, Kelly likes to cook and a dedicated daughter, mother, and grandmother. Reading is a special hobby, one that she particularly enjoys on rainy days.
Oriana, Surgical Assistant
Oriana is a Bay Area native who has been in dentistry for 29 years and has been Dr. Herrera’s dental assistant for 25 years. She is a skilled, committed, caring & friendly team member whose smile puts patients at ease. She is a distinguished athlete with a love for baseball, softball, gymnastics, soccer & basketball. She is a devoted daughter, wife, and mother and is enjoying her beautiful and energetic daughter. When she isn’t working she spends her time coaching her daughter’s basketball team or cheering her on in her many other sporting events. Oriana also spends time volunteering for her daughter’s school and is constantly giving back to those around her.
Lolly, Registered Dental Hygienist
Lolly is from Durban, South Africa and has been in the US for over 20 years. She graduated from Chabot College in Dental Hygiene, and completed a BS degree completion at Foothill College in 2019. Lolly has been involved with her professional organization, CDHA, since 2016 and have held many positions on the local, state, and national level. She’s involved with Chabot College Dental Hygiene program and is on the East Bay Component board. Lolly is patient, caring, compassionate, thorough, and loves dental hygiene. Patients are very pleased with how she encourages and motivates them with their oral health. Lolly is celebrating her 15 year anniversary of working with Dr. Herrera this year. Her interests include, continuing education classes to improve her knowledge, skills, and understanding of the latest technology, instruments, and products available in dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, word games, and going to the beach. Most importantly she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Trisha, Surgical Assistant
Trisha has been a dental assistant for 9 years. She is very passionate about this field and loves working in periodontics. Trisha was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has a daughter whom she loves to adventure with. Trisha and her daughter love the outdoors and enjoy camping together. Trisha also loves cooking and trying out new recipes. Trisha is a kind and patient team member. You can always count on Trisha to greet you with a smile when you come into our office.
